The Meeting Place and the village square in the heart of Upper Pitsidia have a long tradition as a meeting place for both locals and tourists – it’s hard to imagine a more relaxed atmosphere.<\/p>\n

Greek dance evenings still take place sometimes, and regularly in summer – when there are also weekly rock and roll cover bands that get the whole square going.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

The menu offers a selection of traditional dishes such as pastitzio and moussaka, as well as fresh food from the grill every day. The staff are also top-notch in this generation.<\/p>\n

The name says it all: the first backpackers from the 1970s, overseas tourists, families whose children run around the houses with the locals, early-retired student councillors and adventure-oriented young hippies meet here to warm up for Kantifes or Matala.<\/p>\n
