Kantifes in Pitsidia
Come together
‘No one would want to live without friends, even if he had all his other goods.

Kantifes
Kantifes on the revitalised Pitsidia Boulevard is a wonderful example of how locals and holidaymakers, young guns and best agers can get together.
Where the traditional kafenion ‘Kostas’ used to be reserved for locals, Kantifes has been opening for breakfast since last summer and only closes when the guests have worked up the necessary bedtime energy. The owners are friendly and generous – sometimes they even dance with their guests in the street.
Speaking of the street: the ‘main street’ of Upper Pitsidia runs through Kantifes. Anyone driving past here has to stop first to greet guests and owners – and not to run over anyone’s feet. On the contrary: along Pitsidia Boulevard, between the meeting place, village square and butcher’s shop, there is currently a lot of new life developing with arts and crafts such as in ‘Regalo Art’ or the unusual tavernas ‘Livas’ and ‘Raftis’ – and Kantifes is the centre of the movement.
